No, we don't have any fresh baked bread in Aldi, besides the flour is different, so it does not taste the same.

During our trip I was concerned about gaining weight since I knew I'd eat everything I feel like.

It actually turned out not so bad - we'd eat 1 meal a day in a restaurant, breakfast at home and evening tea with snacks at home. I guess the cold and long walks did the tricks:-)
